I belive someone on here tryed, and found you could only go 1-2 MM before the walls became to thin. That bit is not worth the effort.

I thought they got more then that out of them.
Id check some fiero sites n double check. The TB is different on some of the cars. I know the 90s 3.1 TB is nothing like my 86 2.8 TB.... TPS and IAC are mucho different.

I was thought there for a while throug hthe mfiero sites there was a place or two boring them out but do believe Dale is right but only half way. Not all could be modded. But who knows, been a member so long n read so many post, it all runs together.

Though as I jog my memory I think 52mm was the max. And maybe on a bone stocker it wouldn't help [course who just slaps a bigger TB on a bone stocker n expects anything?] but there has to be a point where them extra MMs do help.

52mm is stock on 3rdgen 60V6's. The Fiero TB 's are offered in a 3mm over bore which are a different design that ours factory TB's and I have seen info sugggesting possibly that they are only 48mm stock (I can't confirm this though!)

I think AM91Camaro_RS bored the stock TB and just ended up building a custom one because the stock didn't yeild any results really.

I did start to bore a stock one, never finished it. But, the mentioned 2mm looks like it'd be about the limit and even going that far might require some other modifications.
