Do you have spark? Verify that, first...

Silly question, but you verified this with a Pressure guage, right?

Like Doward said, verify spark and go from there.

I feel for you FAST RS. My car did the exact same thing yesterday. I was driving it and it just died. I still have fuel, but no spark anymore. I will have to take a long look what failed there. Any suggestion would be helpful.

ignition coil or pickup coil?

take out a spark plug and crank it over to verify a nice bright spark.

I am going to take it to the shop I tried to do what i could tongiht but I had no one to crank the car no tools and it is infront of the management office. It was running perfect all weekend and then it just turned off. Last night when I tryed to start it it sounded like it wanted to turn over but didnt. It did this a few months ago and no one could find the problem.

I did end up buying another car as a daily driver got a 03 Lancer rice yes but needed a cheap car on gas.

I had my car towed to the shop today helped them work on it and we came to the conclusion it is the ICM The coil has spark but the wires dont.

How do you have a coil that's putting out but not getting anything out of the wires and determine that the ICM is bad? If you are getting the coil to fire, the ICM is fine, it's something in the secondary that's toast, unless you are bench testing the coil. Did you see how they did it?

Let me rephrase that I was half asleep when I posted it. Power is going to the coil but when the ICM was tested it was bad.

not to be a *****, but i dont know what your saying when you spell words wrong. and how i test for spark is (if im by myself) i roll down the driver side window and pop the hood, take out one of the spark plugs off the driver side, attach it to the plug wire and while leaning over the windshield with one hand on the spark plug, and one hand on the ignition key i turn it over for a sec. if i feel a shock then its got spark.

you can also put this spark plug directly onto the coil to test for spark there. if you have spark at the coil, but none when it goes through the dis, then it may be a problem with the cap and rotor. maybe even the pickup coil? (im not sure about that but when my car died, it was the prob)
