Need Desperate Help!!!

So the deal is i got a 2.8 v6 89 before I joined the military over 2.5 years ago and I started to take the motor out. I pulled of everything and was unable to finish. I am now starting to put everything on a new motor and I am stuck with a puzzle.

I really need some detailed pics of all the brackets/bolts for them so that I know what goes where and that I use the right bolts.I pretty much need alot of pics of the engine bay and all angles. PLEASE!!!!

Re: Need Desperate Help!!!

you could just do what i do. start tryin different bolts and which ever ones fit use. start with longer ones and work your way smaller. i always use high grade stuff too. takes a while but it works. also why i usually have a lot of spare fasteners sittin around. i find one that works find out how many i need and go buy. and repeat how ever many times you need

Time for you to take your digital camera to Ecology/Economy or some other huge mega junkyarrd.

It costs a couple of dollars to get in and you can spend all day there. You won't be able to see everything but you will get pics of everything you need.

I don't have a picture, but I just finished replacing the timing cover on my 3.1 (similar setup). I had to unbolt the A/C compressor and the power steering pump on the driver's side in order to remove the water pump and timing cover - the brackets for these accessories interlock with each other and fit over the water pump.

Re: Need Desperate Help!!!

You're in luck!

Hope these help...

Taken a month ago...

Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures showing exactly how the brackets for the power steering pump and A/C compressor go on...but there's really only one way they do go on.

-Everything except the PS pump and A/C compressor brackets-
