Re: 3.4 Swap

Do you need to replace the injectors? Are you looking for factory ones?

The fuel injectors are 18.4 lb/hr, same as the pre-00 3100s.

Re: 3.4 Swap

$50? Man, if I could find a 3.4 for that price, I'd carry it home on my BACK if I had to (no truck ). Well, okay, I almost had the whole 3100 I got the head parts off of for $50, but there was no way to get it home (not like the engine was going to sit in my back seat all nice, right?) You got lucky there. Just make sure it spins freely.

Re: 3.4 Swap

Well, as long as it's out, you could go ahead and throw some 3400 heads and intake on it and call it a day. It's already set up for the DIS, so it would make things a lot easier.

:edit: Oh, and when you do the RMS, it might be a good idea to replace the seal on either the dizzy or the oil pump drive (depending on which way you go with the swap) and either RTV seal or replace the gasket on the rear cam plate as well. BTW, you can get the MEMCAL from a 93 3.4 (non-SFI, still has a MEMCAL and uses the 16149396 ECM, same as the 92-93 3400 DOHC) and run the DIS if you're up to it, so you don't have to screw with the dizzy.
