Saw it the other day on someone car. Whats all needed to do this so it looks stock? I have the dual snorkle intake thing. Where does the filter and all that go?

 

You need to swap the V6 block with a V8 block.

 

Sorry, long day...I meant the air intake duct, not the manifold

 

They came stock on earlier v6 & tpi camaros. Just grab everything off a v6 from the lower airbox that bolts infront of the radiator to the corrugated tube & pcv crossover tube since they're slightly different on the v6.

 

I actually did see a pic on here of a TPI manifold on a v6. Had 2 of the runners cut off and looked like a total hack job, but was still cool to see.
Anyone know where that picture is?

 

The bottom half of that setup fits where the "filler" around the hood latch is (it replaces the filler). The 2.8 cars have a MAF that fits nicely between the dual snorkel and the accordion hose. For my 3.1, there is no MAF and I used a piece of plastic tubing from the tuner section of the parts store (pricey, but the right diameter), PVC from Home Depot could work.
