Hello all i am planning to sell my 85 camaro berlinetta 2.8 and wanted to ask you guys what would be a good price to sell it for? I am wanting to get 71 camaro or 85 i roc my camaro engine its rebuild bored out to.20 with new performance pistons performance cam crankshaft lifters push rods timing chain high pressure oil pump rebuild heads new fuel filter the engine got repainted it looks like it came of the assembly line the body is straight the paint is fair and it has all 4 15 z28 rims with p275/60r15 in the rear it does need entirior work and it has about close to 80,000 og miles u could see how the engine came with the car it was really bad

nice car. the Berlinetta is the Luxury model of the Camaro line, ( as you well know ).

While I'm not great on pricing, I can tell you that if it were a V8, it would be worth more. Bottom line is, you know what you've put into it and how well it runs, looks, handles, etc. try to get at least some of your money out of it, ( for what you put into it ), and ask what you think you can get for it. You want to be fair to yourself and get something for a good downpayment on your next vehicle. I would start high, but be willing to negotiate.

probably 4 grand at most, if you were very lucky, because its only a v6, and depending on how much interior work, I would say 2-3 grand, but you might have trouble even getting that, if its well optioned that will certainly help though, I know I myself did, and others too probably will pay more for a t-tops car in particular, and in my case I wouldn't have bought a non t-tops car. Honestly in this economy you might have trouble getting 2k, but bottom line you should be able to get 1.5k, but if you put all that work into it, personally, I wouldn't sell it for under 2.5, your best bet is to try to find someone to trade.

 

well i put in about 1,300 thats including the 250 that i bought it for its clean i am trying to up load some pics here but dnt know how

 

i just found one that is in very very good shap on ebay right now it has a bid on it for 3,250 but its a z28

Yeah thats sounds about right for a well kept z28 to bad i dont have that extra money to bid on it whatever i get out this berlinetta i will try to get v8
