I removed the intake Sat and regasketed everything from there up.Now I have one hell of a nasty idle.I'm sure it's a vacumn leak somewhere but I can't find it.I took the damn thing apart 3 times trying to find it.

Did I mention I still have a freaking oil leak ! I worked on this damn thing from 11 am to 10 pm and didn't fix a thing.I just made it worse!!!!!

All I can say is F**k it!I'm taking it elsewhere and letting someone else kill thier back and legs on it.I'm so damn sick of taking it apart I couldn't dare to even look under the hood right now.

I went thru all the vacumn lines, removed the intake twice,we won't even go to the valve covers.I give up!
I work all week and won't have the time to tear it apart so now I have the old mans S-10.He's going to put a new coolent line on,oh yeah..I forgot to mention I blocked the throttle body coolent lines off and the hose I used to reroute the coolent has a split in it.It's shooting coolent everywhere under the hood.

I'm calling someone to get an apointment to take my car in.Anyone want to buy a camaro??????

That is where I thought the leak was at.I shoot some carb cleaner around it and nothig happened. The only thing I can figure out is it's somewhere around the intake to head area or the intake to lower plenum.I know I connected all of the vacumn hose up.
I'm not going to mess with it anymore.I'm taking it to the shop Wed.Untill then I'm enjoying the old mans truck,it's not very often I get to drive a standard.

Wow, man, that sucks.. sorry to hear about the job. Hopefully it's something small you missed and it won't cost you a fortune!

All I've done is bore it .030
and add the 1.52 roller tip rocker arms.
other then those items everything else is stock.Engine wise that is.

Oil leak is because you did not use a small block chevy distributor gasket back there.
The vacuum leak is the hoses broken.
Did you rebuild them?
You gotta use 5/16" windshield wiper hose to patch back together.
The vacuum leak at the back of intake you replace hose with 1/2" hose & use electrical tape to take up silght oversize difference.
Those tips will cure the leaks.
Water leak.
I took that bypass thing off & brought it to a radiator shop. $5 leak gone. They soldered it & pressure tested it.

Ummm.....yes I did.I replaced the o-ring and put a gasket between the distributer base and block.

Did that too.Went over them about 15 times Sat night.I gave up on the damn thing and took it to the shop for someone else to break their backs and legs over.
