Throttle Body Spacer?

Transmission: Fsi th400 stage 4. TSI 5500 st
Axle/Gears: Strange S60 4:10s
Throttle Body Spacer?
I was thinking of fabricating a throttle body spacer and was woundering if anyone has tried this??? And does anyone have a idea of how thick to make one...I was thinking 1/2 inch but was also woundering how to incorperate a helex pattern on the inside of the spacer...I was going to use a 1/2 inch of alluminum..ANY thoughts and tips are welcome!!!

While your at it why not grab one of these sweet power adders:

Then get some magnets to clip on your fuel line and a gas saving "chip".

yea sure looks like a total waste of $$$.. i thought of making my own spacer because i dont wana waste $$ on junk

alright guys enough smartass answers. id expect this out of an everyday member but a moderator? really? the guys that are suppost to help stop this kind of harrassing so guys can get a stright answer. wow.
as to the OP i dont think a spacer will really do anything and would really just be a waste of time to do when there are other upgrades out there worth the same amount of money.

no i didnt come out with a smartass answer. im just trying to simple say there really isnt a need for a spacer i think. i dont know what it would do.

Well i guess im just gonna have to go back to figuring this stuff out myself because im not seeing to much help on this site only smart *** answers...Im not a know it all but im also not an idiot....I jsut dont know certaint aspects about these 6/60 motors..

My answer was not a smart as answer it was full of truth.
I'm not sure how anyone could take "Waste of time and money" as a smart as answer.

If you really want to see what works and what doesn't use the search function of the site and learn from the years of experience of people on this site.
You also have to figure out exactly what you want out of your car.
