Smoking Engine Please Help
My camaro wouldn't start last night it would run for 2 seconds then sputter out i left it over night it didn't turn over first try second try it did and it was sputtering again so i gave her gas got her up to 3000 - 4000 rpm cold start then stopped i could tell she was sputtering kinda but it was going away and i popped the hood and held down the throttle and she started smoking whit smoke out the side of the engine where the oil goes in. I didn't blow a head gasket because i checked if there was any bubbles on the oil dipstick no bubbles what else could it be maybe cause i cold started her?

You don't check for bubbles at the oil dipstick, you check with the radiator cap off. DO NOT open it with the engine at operating temperatures or you will severely burn yourself. With the engine cool, take off the radiator cap and start the car and check to see if your getting water bubbles in the radiator. Also a sure sign but not always present is milky colored oil.

Yes what @firebird904 said
also on my car, when that happened i found out i had spilled some oil on the back of the motor from the last time i put oil in. So the smoking part could just be something simple like that. And the part about it sputtering, check the coolant like 904 said. Also like he said, see if the oil is milky. When my car did the same thing, it ended up being that it wasnt getting enough gas, and that it had major build up. SO we got new gasline and put in some seafoam and that helped a bit.
