3.1 - no turn over help please!!!!!

hey guys i have a 3.1 that i just put a cam in. now im usally very good with figureing engines out but not this one. I put it all back together perfect. It ran decent and when i went to time it i noticed the pcv wanst plugged in, so i hooked it up and now it wont fire but will crank. It ran without it plugged on though. But today it wont turn over at all, no click or anything. And i noticed the fuel pump wasnt kicking on. Ive checked all the fuses in the car and i am stumped big time!!! anyone have any ideas??

K.I.S.S.

Do other electronics work, lights radio, etc? No turnover, no power to the pump must be a problem pretty close to the battery, if not the batt itself.

Does your security light stay on? Could be a VATS issue.

Well if nothing electrical comes on then its clearly an electrical issue, and batteries dont die overnight(unless you leave the lights on or something, should double check that you didnt before doing anything else) and even if it was a dead battery, the starter should still make a click noise in effort to turn over, but if all electronics are dead and you didn't run the battery down(which if you cranked enough you could btw), probably have a bad wire or blew a fusible link, if all the electrics work but the starter wont do anything, possibly starter solenoid.

Would really help to have more info, ie. did it get slower cranking before it stopped, do any of the electrical components work, and if so which ones.

not always true. i went out and fired up the iroc tuesday evening and let it run for a bit, didnt drive it so no lights ect ect were on. went out wednesday and it barely had juice. seatbelts light were dim, stereo wouldnt turn on, ect ect. charged it up, and fired right back up. not to sure about the 3.1's, it may have a fuel pump inline fuse near the battery, its an orange wire one.

i know for a fact the battery is good. i think i have a blown fuseable link somewhere, where should i look? Ive searched high and low. What would make the car no turn over at all. it dosent click or anything. It cranking fine and when i stopped and tried it again, nothing. and the acc. work gauges, radio, lights.

should be a fuseable link on the pass side next to the radiator. that one went out on me one time.

Re: 3.1 - no turn over help please!!!!!

i found out if you ground the wire that goes from the pass key to the relay it will start. Is there a way to bypass the pass key besides prom burning?
