ALL 3.4 guys take a look...

Alright guys, im planning on doin the 3.4 swap but i also have some ideas that i want your input on. After doing the 3.4 swap would the RKSport 3.4 headers fit? Also, i know alot of you guys had to put in a new tranny after doin the swap. Would the tranny that came with the 3.4 work or would it not fit up? What tranny did you guys use? well those are all my questions. Thanks in advance, you guys are a really big help in this process. O this is what im planning once i get the money and time:
Forged Pistons
Sealed Power moly rings
Federal Mogul bearing and rod
Compucam 2000 by Crane Cams
RKSport 3.4 Headers
Nitrous Express 90HP Kit
What do you guys think?

2.8 3.1 3.4, there all basicly the same they all mount up to the same transmittion. I belevie Ked got his 3.4 out of a 4th gen so some minor work had to be done for accesories. In my EX-blazer that I swapped out the 2.8 for a 3.4 Gm HO crate every thing was the same externally except it came with camaro/fbird oil pan timing cover and valve covers, I had one of the funkey oil fillers but still I used 1 of the new covers. These tins were all for a 3rd gen aplication. If you have the means I highly reccomend getting a 2000$ gm crate especially when it comes practicly built.

Hey Tommy,
Ask any other questions.
I only deal in wrecking yard engines.
Seriously!!
When ya check out the cost for machining & THE parts prices.
Realize, I paid $850 for my whole package, after I sold left over stuff . I do not account for gas for this mission.
BY USING MY RECEIPE, you'll save so much, cause you already know.
BUT, I really suggest you just start with the engine in there, then go forward. Beside, IF YA DON'T BLOW THE TRANNY, MAYBE YA BLOW THE REAR!!!
Neutral dropping a 700R4!!! A $700 BURNOUT, THAT WAS PRICELESS!!!!
BUT, you'll have so much fun with the night an day difference, you'll forget about HP & this and that.
You'll just be pointing, & shooting at the taraget to take on.
I've already raced a Porshce doing over 100 MPH. I only held back because of my lousy tires.
Graeme, Sepulveda Pass, going south, from Mullholland to the Getty entrance.
Get the basic engine package secured into & running properly in your ride, then start adding more HP.
Me?
I just want to add NOS! This engine will hold up, just fine!

OH, cancel the headers.
Why?
UNLESS YOU CAN GET PAST SMOG WITH NONLEGAL HEADERS, Don't worry. You'll never miss them!!
200 Foot Pound of TORQUE will make you smile plenty.
You'll be stunned.
IT will pull ya like a freight train.

I used to live in Westfield. Born in Plainfield.
Lived in inspection lines with my Dad for breakfast on the weekends!!

One other detail I just found out today. My 1995 3.4 requires a very cold range plug. No wonder I heard pinging alot! I just put them in. Driving it this weekend. I used Bosch Platimun HR9BPX. I used to use HR6BPX! The higher the number, the colder the plug!!! I'll have to fix my Wife's 1968 Camaro engine, too. Her engine pings, also. I do need to buy plugs, not just keep media blast them clean & reuse them. I never knew I had the wrong plug in my 1995 3.4 engine

If you want 'pulls like a TPI L98' power, gimme a few to finish up working out my plans for my 3.4. Busy mustering 250+ horses out of engine analyzer, mostly based off Red91Bird's crazy high-14 second 3.1... trying to drag it into mid-low 14's naturally aspirated. You KNOW you want to hand stock 350 TPIs their butts.
BTW, I found a book that has a few details on 60* V6 performance, and it says S-10 headers *WILL* fit our cars (probably with a custom Y pipe, but still)

Btw, HELP, I need intake port CCs and average port diameter for our heads! Intake runner info would be appreciated also =)
