I know this is not Tech and it will get locked but i had to vent and maybe get some other opinions. Here it goes

I am presently a cashier at Christmas Tree Shops in Orange, CT. While i was ring on my register to today i met a guy whos friend work for Speedvision(A TV station devoted to all kinds of motorsport and other car related show) I asked him about the buy out of Speedvision by Fox. As we talked i ask him what his friend said about Speedvision turning into an all NASCAR channel and he said Yes. He said after the racing seasons over the channel will be all NASCAR. I'm so ticked off all my favorite shows are on the channel, no one else show SCCA events F1 CART like Speedvision, all the great muscle car show includeing the ones on the firebird will not be shown, now it's going to be a 24 HOUR NASCAR channel. That means no more 24 hours of Lemans, 12 hours of seabring, and 24 hours of Daytona. What a jip, now i will never see another Sportscar race on Speedvision. All the 12 and 24 hour event will be shown through ESPN and ABC, but not in an entirety, just bits and pieces, what a jip, i wsh there was something we could do. What do you think?

All NASCAR?!?!? That sucks! I LOVE watching the F1(awesome!) and superbike(crazy!) races. They also have some really cool educational programs about old cars, etc. I like NASCAR ok, but 24 hours of ******* racing is to much!

 

Yeah i can't believe it, i don't want to see 24 hours of roundy round racing.

I dought thats ever going to happen. This friend of a guy probebly knows jack ****. Speedvision would neved do something like that.
And I dought Fox would do something like that eather. Instead of spending all the money for speedvision they'd just start a whole new channel from scrach.

That would seriously suck. I like the "My Classic Car By hemmings Motor News", Popular Hot Rodding T.V., Muscle Car Classics(I think its that) or Classic Muscle Cars one of the 2... theres like 4-5 shows on modding, fixing and service on Speed Vision. If they do this It'll be going OFF my satilight lists!. I will be stuck watching TNN for car shows....

 

Yep it's all happening soon, why do you think they have totaly NASCAR on the station now, remember at the begining of the racing season speed vision was not alowed to broadcast any video or picture of the 2001 NASCAR season.
