What's this little thingy?

I saw it looking for my brake line leak. It's this white thing, looks like a vent, with a big hose attached to it. It right next to the connection where my line broke. So what the heck is it and would it hurt it if it got brake fluid on it??

Where is it? next to the broken brake hose isnt much information on location where exactly is it? it in the rear?

Sorry about that.. Yeah, it's in the left (driver) rear. Practically above the axle.

uhh... I didn't post a pic.. The line broke just before a connection. It's where the metal line goes into this connecion, which feeds the rubber hose to the junction box. There's a crack just before the connection at a bend on the top of the line.

Sounds like you're talking about the vent for the gas tank... I'd imagine it'd be fine if it got sprayed with brake fluid.

Thanks Tom. Glad to know I didn't screw anything else up...

I guess I'll find the military moving people around soon enough... It'll be a while before I get some rims, but I'll keep ya in mind I also like those rims.
