Axle/Gears: 3.42 gov lock
headers? which ones fit?
iv been eyeballing some new ideas for my car to beef it up alittle and make it sound beefier so im tossing the idea around about headers. what headers fit our cars? can we use the stock y pipe? post links or pictures to what you have please!!

Check the sticky at the top about aftermarket parts for our cars, it lists the part numbers for headers in there. I also have Pacesetter headers/Y-pipe on mine.

Anything that improves flow should add some HP. How much exactly? Depends on what else you do.

complete valvetrain overhaul. agressive cam with magnum rockers (compcams) and I was comtemplating an underdrve pulley kit and a performance chip.

Are there any headers that we can keep and use our stock y pipes though? I just got my exhaust done a year ago and I'm about to put it back under the knife so I can get my cowboy duals on but I also want alittle better sound and the Umph but I wanna keep the stock y and the rest of my exhaust

The Y that comes with the headers is way better. More of a true Y instead of the T that's standard.

The Pacesetter Y-pipe also is mandrel bent, which means there are no kinks in the bends.
