FPR definitely done for?
I'm sure I know the answer but wanted to get confirmation before putting my hand in my pocket. Again. On my '91 Firebird 3.1 there is a vacuum line from the TB that tees off to the fuel pressure regulator and goes down to the AIR pump. When I pulled the vac line off the AIR pump some gas dripped out. Is there any way that's not the FPR diaphragm that's leaking? On Rockauto they have one for $54 and one for $184. That's a huge diff. and they have different oem part numbers. Any opinions on why two different ones and which one to go with? What do you get for the extra $130? Would this be a time to go with an adjustable? does it replace the existing FPR and is there one that works with the 3.1 and is easy to install? Any pics of one installed?

Sounds like a bad FPR to me. Although I'd also check the charcoal canister line at the canister and at the TB. Make sure that there isn't fuel being pulled through the CCP system.

Re: FPR definitely done for?
Just pulled it and the diaphragm is pretty badly cracked. There was gas above it in the cap and it was running into the vac line that goes down to the AIR pump. I suspect the gas may have messed up the AIR pump as well. Any idea why the two regs on Rockauto are $130 different in price? I looked again and it's the same pic used for both!

yea thats weird. IDk though, mabey the diaphrams better in one compared to the other, you could always look at getting and adjustable on, they come with a guage to read the pressure too, I got one for 50 bucks and plan to put it on the day mine goes out, or when i get some time to play with the engine itself.

What make is it? What does it look like? Where does it fit? etc. etc. Adjustable sounds good but I want to be up and running as soon as possible.
