yea man, im serious bout the turboing, 1st things 1st though is i need help on chooseing a good one for the camaro, not sure whitch one you reccomend? i dont want something TOO expensive but not a cheap one that wont give me a bang for my buck.

 

You'd want this in my opinion, its what is on mine and works very very well. Its a e-bay turbo but is a good solid turbo.

I got this one for $118 awhile back but they seemed to raise the price up?? Contact project89 on here as he knows his stuff on the turbo V6's

You guys could go this fast easily with a turbo if you do it right.

 

thats a nice one, only thing is that i would also need to buy a intercoller and what not for it, so im looking at $200+ right? and thats not a bad price at all, ill take it,

You need a few items, and some down time on your car. It took me a month since I could only work on it a hour or 2 a day. And from what im told a month or so to get her up and running is pretty dammm fast!

You need a:

Intercooler
Turbo
Blow off valve
Wastegate
New map sensor
the chip burning stuff
Wideband o2 sensor
Oil line stuff
Some couplers for the piping
Piping
Larger injectors
(mabey a fuel pump as I needed one very fast)
And patients and creativity
And im sure im missing a part or 2 but its a rough parts list

It cost me about 900 bucks for all of what I have.

Its not cheep but to take a 140hp car and make it double the Hp with time is a huge achievment and im my mind was the best thing I have ever, or ever could have done to my car.

i dont recomend this for mostly stock engines though, this turbo requires ported heads large cam and a bottom end u can spin to 7500+ rpms

haha it dosnt bother me any. I got my new top end gasket kit today. i ended up NOT winning my ebay auction for the cam, but i have a pretty bad lifter tick so i might trear it down and replace the top end shtuff. also port/polish the heads while there off ya know?..maby start tommorow

 

If your serious about getting a cam... deltacams is the place to get one. The 260 or 272 grind. Its was 118 bucks shipped to my house with lifters.

You get some dataloggs let me know. Hows that tune doing ok??

 

is ur cxar an auto or stick.

if ur going to port the heads and do a cam id go with a 272 grind if ur staying n/a and have a 5 speed
260 grind for anything else

 

5 speed, ill prolly hold off on tearin into the motor till i can afford the cam, if there was one on ebay i could use my bill me later, but theres not one on there 272 sounds like what i need though
