I'm guessing this is not a daily driver ? The missing high beam wouldn't pass for the inspection sticker , at least where I live , and , don't it ever rain in LA ? You get caught out in a good rainstorm and that thing is gonna drown .....

Daily driver of course. Well good thing I have a buddy at the smog place hehe. It does rain here and I can just reroute it to the fender . Anyways, it pulls stronger than the y intake I useto have on it.

The TPI intake with gutted boxes is a ram air setup with massive openings. Can't really beat that.
Deleting a headlight for an intake is cool for a dedicated track car. Cops will nail you with fix it tickets in no time.

I had the tpi setup on there with gutted boxes but didn't feel it got enough air rammed into it due to all the air going through the radiator. Sure you could put something to direct the air UP directly to the dual snorkel but then the radiator wouldn't get any flow making your engine get hotter faster. Also the tpi intake sits right above the radiator and also sucks in some of the heat the radiator gives off .My setup is completely a RAM CAI. And I deleted the high beam not the headlight. Totally legal I believe

That's not how mine works. I have a sport coupe, so I have air slits above the bumper line, and a larger radiator opening below. There is a steel plate separating the two, so only cold air goes into the air boxes, and the radiator is not restricted by the air intake.
Maybe it's different on your car.

Yeah I have the non-slitted bumper. That Looks good brother. I have to admit, that is a better CAI due to the air not having to make a right turn and then a left turn into the TB. I just might switch back. Ive got my y intake in the cut. I'm guessing I could get a pair of those ducts at a hardware store?
