3.1L cranking, but not starting, completely lost

I'm going to start with saying that I got this car late January so I am new to it.

About two months ago I was replacing spark plugs and snapped the old bolts on exhaust manifold, connecting the EGR valve. So i decided to just remove the EGR valve and the smog pump. Got cover plates and a new pulley to replace the smog pump, but when I tried to start it it would crank but not start. I've been confused since because nothing else has changed other than new spark plugs, spark plug wires, and ignition coil, and the removal of the emission stuff.

Since then, trying to get it started, I've replaced the ignition control module, fuel pressure regulator, replaced the entire starter, checked all fuses and injectors, and made sure the battery is charged but it still cranks, making the same noise and not starting.
If you all have any ideas, it would be appreciated.

With the part canon fired, what’s missing? Fuel pressure? Injector pulse ? Spark ?
fire off with starting fluid

Effectively yeah, just replacing things that might cause it to not run, even if not broken a lot if those parts were original and starting to wear out. Only things missing/taken out after everything was the EGR and smog pump, and from what i've read those won't stop it from starting. I've tested the spark plugs and all 6 are getting power, but haven't checked the fuel pressure yet. I also don't know about the injector pulse yet. I'll probably attempt to start it with starting fluid, see if I can get any error codes from the car.

Don’t rely on the ecm to tell you a code. Use a noid light check for injector pulse. You might need to pull the plenum to pull an injector plug. It could just be a vats signal from the passkey module to the ecm.

Hard to tell from here, cause I can't see under your hood too well, but MANY times when someone comes here with a "Won't start after I fired the ol parts cannon at it" complaint,

and plug wires are on the list of ammunition, , , ,

It turns out to be a messed up firing order....

Squirt some gasoline into the air intake, crank the engine over and see if it momentarily fires. Report back with your results.

I followed the distributor diagram when plugging the wires back in, but at this point just thinking the entire timing is somehow messed up, know it has good fuel, and oil pressure, and the spark plugs are actually sparking

Yes got this figured out, turns out timing was way off. Got it well enough to run but still runs a little rich
