ZO6 Wheels..
Hey guys, whats goin on? I picked up some ZO6 wheels at the GM nationals in Carlisle PA. They are 17x9 1/2 with the 54mm offset with 275/40/r17's on all four. I have done some checking around and i know i need spacers but i dont know exactly which ones to get. People seem to recommend the 2 inch or the 2 1/4 inch spacers on all four wheels. I just want to make sure i get the right ones. They're going to go on a 91 Camaro RS. Im looking to have the tires come pretty close to the edge of the fenderwell. I was concerned about the 2 1/4 inch spacers making the tires stick out too far, And do i use the same spacers in the rear as i use in the front?
Just some info and some pics would be helpful
THANKS!

Re: ZO6 Wheels..
I just put a set of replica c6 vette rims on my 86 iroc z and used the 2 1/4 in spacers and they fit great. They stick out alittle bit more than stock but look awesome. The rims are 17x9.5 with a 56 mm backspace and im running 275 tires on all 4 corners. They fit perfect and only rub slightly at full lock, but no big deal. I havent took pics of my car since putting on the new rims but i should have pics tomorow and will post them for u to see if u like.

As I respnoded to another post, If the 17x9.5 wheels have 54mm offset, use a 2" adapter along with an 1/8" spacer (if you have the factory front brakes),, or use a 1.75" adapter with 1/8" spacer if you have 1LE front brakes),, this will minimize how much the wheel sticks out past the fender and will not rub the tire-rod.
I did a 1LE upgrade on the front end, I am using a 1.75" adapter with 1/8" spacer having 54mm offset 4th gen SS wheels.
On the rear, use a 1.75" of 2.0" spacer. I am using a 2.00" adapter having 58mm offset 18x10.5 wheels.

You'll need 2 1/4" with 17 x 9.5 +56mm wheels, trust me I know. I tried 2" on the front, nope, had to order a set of 2 1/4", the tierods just miss the rim by a few hairs.
Doc, 17x 9.5 wheels are available in different offsets, each requiring a different width spacer. And your 18" setup info is of no use to those with 17" wheels.
I would personally not trust using more than one spacer on a wheel at a time. Although it may or may not be ok
