WOW...what a difference 315's make :)

Recently sold my Iroc wheels and picked up these ZR1 wheels for my car. They are in immaculate condition and wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1's. Oh how it made a huge difference on how the car look now

That looks incredibly badass! I want a rim setup just like that on my GTA. Did you have to roll the fenders alot to get them to fit?

Didn't roll anything, just put on the 2" spacers needed and threw the wheels on

These are the only pics I have at the moment. They definitely stick out more then stock when your comparing the stock 16x8 rim to a 17x11 rim. But actually its right on flush with the fender. I think the extra gap makes it look different. I'm thinking of doing the hose mod and try and drop it 1/2" in the back.
Yeah these tires are expensive. But I think I got a deal for $700 for everything. Considering the tires are almost new all around

I still can't get traction with this ls1 in the car now lol. These are pretty much tucked in as much as they can. I can barely get pinky in between the inside tire and the inner fenderwell. Like said above, once I drop it some, it will look a little more badass

Re: WOW...what a difference 315's make :)

once you drop it some your gonna SHRED those tires apart on every bump. roll the fenders and put a smaller spacer on and get them sucked in a little and protect them lol. overall the car looks pretty killer

Re: WOW...what a difference 315's make :)

Wow... so that is how wide 315's are on third gens lol. Someone told me I should run 315s on my camaro for autocross. But I don't think I could, those things are too wide. In my class I'm allowed to use any tire that does not require tire well modifications to run, but I'd be scared of rubbing the fender well to much with something like this on there without modifying the tire well.

They remind me of how regular stock sized tires look on a 4th gen rear end.

Re: WOW...what a difference 315's make :)

Love 315 tires. I have them on my 4th gen (black zr1's with nitto nt05r drag radials). They stick pretty good with my bolt on LS1 car. If you need traction, drag radials are where its at, but they do wear out quicker. I've been happy with the nittos so far. Good tread life for a sticky tire.

I got 295's 19" on my 3rd gen and wish to upgrade to 18" wheels in a 305-315 size if possible, another drag radial. Love how they look.

Yah I've seen those in person. Looks pretty good. I want to get some 305s for mine when I swap my engine out.

Great looking wheels!
It does seem like in certain pics that they're sticking out too much though....

Did you remove the stock bump stop mount to get these on?
