Firebird wheels on my Z28? Need an ID.
I bought this 1985 Z28 with the wheels in the picture. I think they are FBird wheels. They are 16" s. I want to get center caps, but am not sure what to order. ebay has a ton of choices so I'd appreciate some input on the right size. does anyone recognize these wheels? I've done a lot of cleanup on them but don't have a pic of them clean.

Those are Trans Am/GTA wheels 16x8 and they are offset, look on the backside of the rim it will say front / Rear..,.........

Thanks for the info. I did notice the front/back difference when I put new tires on. Now I need to find center caps.

yoiui can probably check with the seller regarding the center hole diameter and flange, they look to be the same on my camaro and firebird wheels.

My only concern is that ordering OEM caps for a Camaro or Z28 may not fit the GTA wheels. I don't really want Firebird centercaps on a chevy. If they are interchangable then it is a done deal. Camaros that year had 15 inch wheels and the Fbird wheels are 16's. Would the centercaps differ?

And you can change out the Firebird/WS6 emblems for Camaro ones & your set.

Somewhere I coulda swore I read Camaro wheels & you wanting Firebird center caps for them...Weird.
Ignore my PM. Except that double check the Camaro emblems diameter to match the crosslace wheel center cap emblem diameter.

No problem. They are Fbird wheels on a CHEVY. I want centercaps that do not say Pontiac, Fbird, etc. The info you passed on was helpful. thanks.
