BF goodrich Radial T/A on 1986 IROC?

Hey, What would I have to do to make them fit? Any good mag wheels you can find that would be the perfect size?

If im not mistaken, the radials are 15s and the IROC rims are 17s, so the radials are smaller? Will they look good on my car with some new mag rims?

NVM the IROCS are 16s right and the radials are 15s?

Right as to my knowledge there is no actual way of fitting a 15 tire on a 16 in rim, although there are some pretty good 16 in tires out there

Here's a few 15in. wheels .Just pick how wide you want them and back spacing.

On my car I prefer a 7in.wide wheel with 235/60r15 tires in the front and 8in. wide wheel with 255/60r15 tire in the rear to give me a staggered look with a slight rake.
This link shows just the American Racing brand that is popular = http://www.summitracing.com/search/p...-3-4-in?page=2

Re: BF goodrich Radial T/A on 1986 IROC?

All 1986 IROCs came with 16" x 8" wheels and 245-50-16 GY gatorbacks from the factory - Z28 came with 15" wheels (same wheels as the 1982 - 1984 Z28).

Question is - why would you want to put 15" wheels when the 16" was standard and the 17" and larger have much more selection in tires?

MY RS has the 15" Z28 wheels on it with 235/60/15 BFG Radial TA white leter and I love the look, but if I had an IROC with the stock 16's there is no way I would take them off for 15's The car is dirty in this pix, but you can see the wheel/tire combo

The only reason I can think of why he might be looking for 15in. mag style wheels and that tire is to transform his stock set up into what looks more like a street/strip 1/4 mile car similar to this.=
