Fitting 05 Replica Corvette Rims

Hey Guys!

So since my 86 Maro is in the shop right now, I am looking at getting new wheels for her. I'm looking at some C5 replica 'Vette wheels:

and since I know close to nothing about rims or fitment, I was wondering what will I need to do to make these fit right? I've heard of guys using 2 inch spacers all the way around, but then again I still fully don't know what those are, haha. My car is stock height and has no suspension mods. If anyone could try and steer me in the right direction, that would be greatly appreciated! Sorry for sounding like such a noob, I'm just not sure about this wheel stuff.

Thanks for the help!

(Yay, first post! )

Re: Fitting 05 Replica Corvette Rims

Thanks! that link looks helpful

Oh and another question: those replica corvette rims should have same offsets, dimensions, etc. as factory corvette rims, correct?

Re: Fitting 05 Replica Corvette Rims

Yeah, I found the wheels at OE wheels a few days ago, way cheaper and direct, plus they're located an hour away from me. Adapters is still my problem, I do not want to get the wrong size, or get some crappy made ones and have my wheels fall off on the interstate :/

everything that you should know is posted above and the spacer size for corvette wheels.. it doesnt get much simplier than that

you can save money of you got from ebay to avoid hawks upcharge on stuff

i hear 2" is usally the norm tho

Re: Fitting 05 Replica Corvette Rims

Haha, I know; crazy expensive. I might have found some Ebay ones that look promising, its just theres so many on Ebay so I'm not sure which ones to trust, because spacers breaking sounds like a nightmare.

and thanks for that link, Zach. It's just these rims I am trying to buy are not the most descriptive on what kind of rims they actually are (Z06, etc)
