replacement lug nuts
im having a hard time finding replacement lug nuts for my 16in IROC wheels. the factory ones have these "tin caps" that fell off. and apparently all the ones I find at oreilleys, auto zone. advance et al have the wrong taper.clearly .I don't want the tin cap ones.but finding a chrome "acorn"style lug nut is not gonna happen around here. so,the question is.does anyone have any idea where one can get the correct ones??
Re: replacement lug nuts
I bought these ones. Great quality for the price.

Re: replacement lug nuts
The "tin cap" ones are the correct ones if you're looking for accurate resto pieces. The reason the caps fall off is because everyone uses a 3/4" lug wrench on them instead of 19mm. Close, but no cigar. It rolls the corners and eventually spins the cap on the nut.

Re: replacement lug nuts
Go for black instead of chrome. Black hides better in the lug hole than shiny sliver...

Re: replacement lug nuts
I replaced mine with lug nuts that have a screw-on black plastic cover. Recommended.
