19x10 Deep dish C5 wheels fitment

I am looking at 19x10 C5 deep dish wheels for all 4 corners. They have a 65 offset and 8.06 backspacing.

I know I need spacers, but will these wheels fit front and rear? My only requirement is that they HAVE to sit inside the fenders, as the car will be very low.

You can get them to tuck the rear but no clue on the front

18x10.5s have been tucked, so why even ask this? It's 17x10s that don't really tuck, because of hitting the steering.

Re: 19x10 Deep dish C5 wheels fitment

Also, the wheels being on sale for $ 50 each doesn't make them a good deal. Add $90 for shipping, add $ 250 for billet spacers, then the cheapest tires that fit are $ 166 each.

Would a 18x9.5 be safe?

Re: 19x10 Deep dish C5 wheels fitment

You can definately fit the 8.5's but 9.5's i am not sure. Others have tucked 9.5" 17 zr1's just fine up front so as long as spacing is right you should beable to get a 9.5 in there and possibly a 10" with say a 285 tire. I run 305 on my rears and it required alot of inner well work

I just know the oem vette 19x10 has 79mm offset which would need like a 2.5-3" spacer up front

Re: 19x10 Deep dish C5 wheels fitment

OK cool. I just verified with a member here that the 18x9.5 C5 deep dish does fit in the front.

If the 18x9.5 does fit then a 19x9.5 should fit right? Like what problems would I run into fitting a 1" larger diameter wheel? Just rubbing on the a arm at full lock right? A larger wheel, shouldn't cause me to run into strut clearance right?

Re: 19x10 Deep dish C5 wheels fitment

Could have strut clearance, could have inner well clearance issues on turns. I cant go full lock to lock with 8.5" 255 tires with alittle rub in lowered car and its not as low as it could be. I dont want it any lower or wider up front.

I was gonna swap out to c5 deep dish in 19/18 combo like i have now but have to stretch a 255 tire to fit 9.5" wheel. Wasnt looking forward to that but tire says it will fit up to 10" wheel. Seems wide to me

Re: 19x10 Deep dish C5 wheels fitment

I have the 17x9.5 with 275 they fit. Can't go wider with 17 because of the tie rods. I now wish I would have bought the 18 to gain a little more clearence. I have 2.25" spacers I believe.

I have two 19x10's coming my way. I will test fit them front and rear and post my results.

As long as you use 275 tires they will fit no problem. 285 Can fit but it may rub up front. 295 Will fit the rear but you may need spacers or make use of your BFH.

Thats good news Tibo.

When I ran 20" wheels I mounted my rear 20x10 in the front. And it fit fine. That didn't cross my mind until after I ordered the new 19x10 wheels.

Spacer width and tire height will also be key. Pics when on!

Re: 19x10 Deep dish C5 wheels fitment

Got the two 19x10 wheels in. Had a 275/35/19 mounted on them. They will definitely fit the rear. There's plenty of room. I think I am going to try and run a 295 in the rear.

Up front looks promising. I haven't mocked up the front with the tire mounted though.
It is going to be a tight fit. I dont think anything wider than a 275 will fit.

Looks good so far, the paint looks great too. Was it repainted?

Re: 19x10 Deep dish C5 wheels fitment

Thanks, but Nope, it's about 8 year old paint. It is due for a new paint job, or either a lot of touch up and buffing. Its got some imperfections, and I had a jack failure, that destroyed the entire driver side rocker panel.

Did you roll the rear fenders as well to fit the 305s, or just inner work with BFH? I was going to run a 305 with a C6 Z06 19 x 10 wheel, fenders already rolled.

Buggy
Nice wheels!

275s on front is not an issue. I am running them with 4th Gen WS6 wheels with only a slight scrub at full turn. I have the older Spohn A-Arms, which I feel is causing the scrub issue due to them offsetting the front wheel center towards the rear. A few full on track racers are somehow running 305s up front, but for street and regular track use you will have plenty of traction with the 275s.

Those 275s are looking narrow on the back though, I am with you on going to a 295.

Re: 19x10 Deep dish C5 wheels fitment

I've had them on for about a month now, and they fit fine. I am using a 2.25" adapter on all 4 corners.
285/35/19 rear. 275/35/19 front.
