18” Rocket Racing wheels

A friend recommended these to me for my 1989 GTA. The seller says they were for a second gen Camaro. They are 18x7 with 4” backspacing in the front and 18x9 with 6” backspacing in the rear. Would these fit a GTA?

Re: 18” Rocket Racing wheels

IMHO the back spacing is to much on both of them. They'll probably sit too far under the car.

However, it depends on what look you're going for.

Re: 18” Rocket Racing wheels

I’m wanting something I can put some more modern rubber on to go autocrossing with. But I don’t want it to be a project to make it work. Thanks for your input.

Re: 18” Rocket Racing wheels

I would pass. Not the right backspacing, and frankly, the fronts are rather skinny. Not that it's not do-able, because it certainly is.....but.....personally, I'd pass.

Re: 18” Rocket Racing wheels

I did. I’m going to hold out for something better after I rebuild the front suspension. Thanks for the input!

Re: 18” Rocket Racing wheels

I’m going with the rockets but 18x9 5.5 backspacing in the front. 18x10 6.0 backspacing in the back. I think they should fit flush.

Re: 18” Rocket Racing wheels

10s in front 11 in the rear would be a perfect setup if they had it
