Forgeline RB3C’s

18 X 9.5 front, 18 X 11 rear

A sneak peek at the wheels that I am using. They are Forgeline RB3C, anodized bronze center, polished outer rim, satin black inner rim. The front is 18 X 9.5, 6.5” BS and will have a 275/35-18 RT660 and the rear is 18 X 11, 7” BS with a 315/30-18 RT660 tire. I could not be happier with the color against the blue paint.

I really like bronze / gold wheels. Those look great with the car color 👍🏻

Thank you! I could not agree more about the color combination, the bronze really goes well with the dark blue.

Re: Forgeline RB3C’s

Do you have any updated pics of the wheels on the car?

Love the wheel and color combo btw.

I should have some new pictures of the car finished and outside in the next couple of weeks.

Any pics? REALLY curious as to how they fit vs the outer fender lips over bumps. Looks like they sit about perfect, but its hard to tell from the side.

I just put a deposit down on a set of 10.5" Forgeline CF1 open lugs and could really use the input. I've got what I think will work jotted down but not 100% sold. Thanks!

I apologize for not getting back sooner, I just came across your post. I hope it’s not too late for my input. Getting the back space right is tricky. When you measure the wheel sizes, keep in mind that the beads are not included in the width and the total width will be 2” wider with tires. For example, my rear wheels are 11”, but are 12” wide and 13” wide with the tires. I ordered them with a 7” backspace, 4” front space which left the tires 5” off of the hub which is exactly the width of the outside of the fender. I would have liked to have them a 1/2” inboard so that they could be tucked inside the fenders. The car would be an 1” lower if I could do that, but then the exhaust would drag on bumps and driveways, so it is actually better for street driving. As it is, the look is amazing and my spring rate is stiff enough to not contact the fenders. For informational purposes, Forgeline quoted me $3000 to re-hoop the wheels, so measure carefully. I hope this is helpful.

Re: Forgeline RB3C’s

No problem, we all have busy lives. It sure is tricky! They reviewed fitment on previous cars and did the math for a good while before calling me back. Original plan was 6" BS front and 6.25" BS rear.

Unfortunately it is too late for me to change anything I'm pretty sure. Went with 18x10s with 6" BS, which is the same 4" front space as you have in the rear obviously. Hoping they tuck a little more than yours in the rear, as my car is lowered (sportlines) and not adjustable. I'll also be on 295s so I sure hope that helps! Forgeline assures me they will fit, and hopefully stands behind that if they don't.

Curious how much wider your front end is with your brakes. My brakes only added .40 to my width per side, and I'm guessing/hoping yours added quite a bit more. Otherwise my front tires are going to be way too far out with 4" of front space. Your 3" of front space looks perfect.

The more I look at your car the more interesting things I see. That rear bumper cover is entirely custom I assume. It really cleans up the look. Never seen another like it.

My car has C4 Corvette suspension all around and I pushed the front suspension out 2" to increase track width. The back suspension is within a 1/2" of the stock 3rd gen. track width.

Good. Is that 2" per side or 2" total? Appreciate it!

The track width is 2” wider total, about the same as a 4th gen. track width (I used a 4th gen R&P).
