Iroc wheel swap to Blazer

I have a set of iron 16 inch wheels with a 76351 casting number on back of wheels, I want to put them on my 1998 Blazer 4wd. Will they fit properly? Or anything I need to know before attempting this change? The blazer is 4 wheel drive and came with 15 inch wheels. Any help greatly appreciated

never seen iron wheels, just do a test fit see if backspacing will work.

Re: Iroc wheel swap to Blazer

You could always ask your question on a Blazer forum, like a person with common sense would do...

yes I already did that with no good results, besides I still have my 69 Camero and my 85 Iroc so I'm still an iroc man just have a blazer now also and want to give it some class plus would like to have 16 inch wheels instead of 15s. Besides as a machinist by trade and also owning 2 body shops and over 32 years in the business I tried all the blazer outlets etc 1st, with no results I figured I would try the Iroc forum maybe someone would have run into a similar swap. Thanks for the reply

I am "guessing" that the hub diameter and the back-spacing will be wrong, but no personal experience with such a swap...

Re: Iroc wheel swap to Blazer

It sounds like you have already spent a considerable amount of time asking around forums with no good answer. Since you own everything needed why not take 5 minutes and just test fit them? I feel like I must be missing something here....

Re: Iroc wheel swap to Blazer

I recently noticed a ~1998 blazer running around my area with 93-97 "salad shooter " wheels...

Re: Iroc wheel swap to Blazer

Assuming this is an S-series Blazer, but better to ask on a Blazer or S10 forum. However from my experience with S10’s, probably not going to work. 2wd S10’s and S-series Blazers use the same wheel backspacing as 3rd gen f-bodies (I’ve swapped stock 15” and 16” wheels between them). 4wd S10’s and Blazers have a different wheel offset (hubs are further toward the outside than 2wd versions). 4th gen F-body wheels might work, but never tried them.

Re: Iroc wheel swap to Blazer

It will work, especially if you use rear wheels that have more backspacing.

Yeah, this one has wheel flares, but it's a ZR2 with the wide frame and rear axle. It's lowered of course. Fitment would be the same as a standard 4x4. That's a rear wheel on the front and a front wheel on the rear.
