Have you seen this firebird bodykit?

I was wondering if anyone has this bodykit and also if anyone has better/different shots of it installed.
I saw it on some website that makes fiberglass body pieces.
I'll get the adress if I can.
I'm considering ordering some of their stuff for my Javelin and I'm also in the procces of finding some fiberglass stuff for my '73 1/2 ton dodge pickup which I haven't started yet.
Let's see some pictures people!

it's called the VISION STYLING KIT.
here is the link:
http://www.showcars-bodyparts.com/fi...8292pics1.html
the place wanted $900 for the kit!
i considered getting it, but i have a feeling that someone else has this kit for a lot cheaper.

I agree! It is an ugly hood!

It is. It's just about an inch lower all the way around.

Wow thats sweet. I wish they made something like that for the Camaro. Like the 91-92 ground F/X but about an inch lower to the ground. I would honestly consider that instead of the Evo kit.

That's what I was thinking....

Couldn't you just have the normal GFX and lower the car an inch and get the same effect, plus have reduced fender gap?

There is an extension of about 2 inches on the front and rear bumpers.
you could lower it and have this kit and it would look pretty slick.
But I have yet to see it in person.
I could probably make that extension myself if I wanted to but I'm not sure about it's looks.

True. But having extremely low ground F/X combined with lowering the car itself would give a really mean look for shows. Imagine wheels tucking and ground f/x almost on the ground. Granted it would only be for shows, not daily driving ... but I would still like it. Its all for looks anyway man. Who knows how functional these ground f/x really are.

Not sure if I'm correct or not , but I was told this is the Predator kit by Kobel . Some things might have been added , like the Ferrari door panels ,and the rear wing . Or they may be part of the kit . I don't know who's car this is ,but it's really nice ride . You can tell there has been a lot of hours put into this car .

if you don't like the way your car looks stock, why'd you buy it? if you want a Predator kit that makes your car look like a ferrari, save up and buy a ferrari, if you want one that makes it look like a eurotrash POS, save up and buy a eurotrash POS. Nobody is forcing you to keep your GOOD cars, and i for one would prefer it if you got rid of your GOOD cars and decided to cut and glue and turn something ****ty into a POS car....buy a ford taurus or something...i see enough of our cars abused and dead, i hate to see them being killed and sit back and not do anything about it.

I have this body kit. I originally bought it for my '85, but some complications with that led to me buying a '91. Would I still be able to put this on the 91.... I know I'd have to replace the headlight covers, and move the blinkers, but is there anything else I'm missing?

Let's see a picture of your bodykit!
I really wanna see it on a car besides the one from the website.
hey 9OFirebirdV6 I just have to say that you are definetily goin on my buddy list.
I thought I was the only person out here that loved javelins.
I'm saving up for mine but I haven't found one I like near my area.
I'm looking for a '70 javelin with the 390 (not the 401) and the borg warner 4-speed.
I'm an AMC guy at heart but our beloved F-bodies are the only cheap,V-8 car I liked that I found to be feasible for me to buy at the time.
I really like these F-bodies now.
anyway let me see some pics of this dammn bodykit.

I was watching slightly wrecked/ repairable exotics on eBay...could be an option, but you know....

I grew up as a kid with a great love for custom cars of all sorts. To say body kits and bolt on accesories are anyless then a custom approach... I'm not so sure I agree.

If the car is truly rare, then only a fool would mess with it in such a way that it can't be converted back to stock easily.
If all third gens or all F-cars for that matter, are the subject... I think there's enough to make a personal statement with.

I love the paint and rear spoiler wrap-around look of the Predator. Also dig front airdams, even though mine has none...yet. Are people up in arms over all those Fiero kitcars???
hehe
