Stupids Thing of life

LOL

Guys i was looking trought my GTA photo album, and i wanted to share with you a little secret. You see last summer when my buddy and I decided to install the roll cage, we naturally had to remove most of the interior, seats, body molding, carpets...

Well you'll never guess the usual stuff we found: Under a back seat there where a couple Transformers arms, Under my trunk panels we found about 5 wooden screw drivers and a 3 wrenchs.( Guess i know whet those clunks were now )
and last but not least we found about a pound of rice in a ziplock bag!

Does that make me a ***** ?!?!?

What kind ogf stuff did you guys find?????

Later dudes

My camaro has been good to me for discoveries. I found $15.00 in change under my driver seat, probably another $5 or so through out the rest of the car and a flashlight.

My 79 LTD that I had...... It had been sitting in a field for two years and I found a huge rat's nest underneath the rea seat. I filled two garbage bags with shredded paper and grass, removed the seat, lysol-bombed everything, and shut the car for one month with those large egg-shaped air fresheners you open more to ge more scent, and by the time it was running there was no smell at all.

Mine sat at a used car dealership for *** knows how long. And when I was working on it one day I got attacked by ants! There was a ant colony in the engine bay.

Got some Rid A Bug and went to town...

Not that it's very interesting, but this is what I found when I bought my car...

Rear compartment: Dirty Poncho, Various Moldy Manuals.

Console: Notebook with every fill up and mileage received for first 124,000 miles, misplaced lightbulb for the console.

Ash Tray: Random **** for *** knows what... The heater control **** was missing from my car, but the one in the ash tray wasn't it.

Some of you guys find alittle money, some tapes, maybe find some tools.
In my 1987 Formula that I bought a while ago I found quite a collection of cassettes about 35 in all under seats, front and rear,
some in the trunk area, but most of them were in the guts of the console, some country tapes, but mostly 90's teeny bopper .
And in the little folding pocket thing on the dash was the previous owner had about 15 joints and a small amount of coke, like why leave that kind of crap in the car when your selling the thing, but my pothead put that $h!t to good use later that night, He said the pot was old, and the coke was stale.
Oh well

best thing i found was a pair of needle nose pliers. picked up the car and did a complete tune up that weekend. while i was underneath changing something, i saw something kinda sticking down loose. pushed it, it fell. turned out to be some pliers. now they are in the tool box . besides that, just a small bottle of visine (wonder if someone was a pot head )

my 84 sport coupe sat for 3 years before I got my hands on it. It had about 10 bucks in change, french fries, plenty of little papers, wheat husk, and mouse crap. not to mention plenty of bugs.

The coolest thing was a GI issued food pouch. I finally opened it the other day and it had some process turkey and ham, pinnapple loaf, coffee grounds, napkins, a spork, toilet paper, peanut butter, crackers, matches, and some spearmint gum. COOL!

I found LOTS of acorns and nuts, mold, and dead rodents (the car had been sitting in the woods for a year).

In my old 87 Cougar's engine bay, I found a fork, knife, and spoon, 2 oily rags, various hand tools, part of a 2x4, 3 non-functional car alarms, about 75 feet of wire that went to nothing, a Chips Ahoy! wrapper, and a tired 5.0 liter V-8.

I found 7 cigarettes in my rear ash-tray and lots of change under the console. Here is a list of what I found in my dash when I replaced the heater core:

cigarette lighter
corvette ads from magazine
two pay stubs from a dealership mechanic
napkins from fast food
receipt from fast food
ticket stub for a movie or something

Thats all I can think of now.

* oh yeah, my friend found a matchbook from a nudie bar in my back seat. *

apart from the various reciepts, spare change, 80s tapes, etc you would expect to find, i emptied about a pound of sunflower seeds from inside the dash heater ducting when i pulled the dash from my parts car. apparently someone had a huge bag of them on the dash and wasnt very careful during braking, and lost a bunch down the defroster vent. maybe this happened a few times due to the amount of seeds i found.

I found the usual change, butts, pencils, and other crap in my 85 Z28 parts car a while back. The real unusual thing I found was in my IROC's intake manifold under the runners. I found about 3 quarters and what looks to be like some paper someone jammed on the side of the intake where it was leaking. Of all the things the previous owner jimmied on this car, this was definately the worst

I found a bunch of change in the console, receipts all around the inside of the car, couple match books, wiring for a car phone, and all the hook ups for Auto Tap. Seriously doubt the guy before me had Autotap on the car since it was ragged all to hell when I got it, lol. But my friend has it on his 93 LT-1 and says he is positive that that was what all the wires and jacks were. I just took it all out since I didn't have the software (or a laptop, lol). Oh, found a couple of ***** in the back in the glovebox, pair of socks, and a collection of magic the Gathering cards, lol. Sold them puppies, lol.

When I got my car three years ago other than the usual thing like change etc. I found
a pair of pliers, a stapler, a very large pair of boxer shorts, and a single latex glove.
I hope they were not all used together in my car!

When I got mine, the sliding of the automatic shifter was pushed in -- when I took the center console apart, I found one partially used joint and two unsused. And you know that locking compartment in the back? I call that my cocaine locker -- no kidding, there were two small packets of little white stuff.

Of course, all of this paid a visit to the toilet rather promptly. My dad was helping me clean it up, and he was pretty nervous. Not that I wouldn't have thrown it away -- who knows how long it had been there.

What's with all the drugs in our third gens. Do we have the "Druggy Car of Choice". Seems alot of people enjoy high speeds both ways, lol. Glad I didn't find any of that in my car, lol.

I found 2 cigs under my drivers seat, a zippo lighter under the passenger side, and a normal lighter in the glovebox. Also, if you lean your passenger's seat back a ways, when you excellerate real good, the change will slide out of there pockets and into the seat crack...i pull almost 5 bucks out every month or so, and I just have a 2.8 5-speed! Imangine in a 350 iroc! you'll be makin more than at your job!! LMAO!

to bring another post back from the dead, i found some interesting things that include the original paper that lists all the options that came in the car - the window sticker i guess but there no price on it, also i found about 15 dollars in loose change under the carpet on the front pass side floor, 2 used needles - i was very cautious around them could have been from a diabetic or crack head?, dollar store cologne, mc donalds wrappers and french fries. really makes you wonder what ppl do in there cars.

lol

sucks I dont have any good car stories for any of mine :-(

GTA had nothing in it was lower mileage 17k one owner.

I did get the Formula cause the idiot kid did 140mph and took a pic and his pareants found it. I saw the pic when I bought the car.

The TTA had a cookie monster toy in the back that was the guys kid I would guess, its now my mascot and still in the car lol.

Now my friend on the other hand lol

87 Turbo T Limited, pass window wouldnt go down all the way and made horrible sounds. Well we took it apart and after we removed the gram scale and crack it worked beautifully.

We stripped the whole car down and luckily didnt find anything else lol

later

But So i've found a novel buy Iris something, an old iron, a harry potter towel, a completely torn up headliner, a sub box for 12's that tucks up nicely, about 12 million screws and wiring connectors, 65c in change, a taco bell receipt dated in june, a bush light 24 oz. can, and other empty cans of soda, something else i forgot. All this stuff and i haven't even pulled the seats out yet.
