guys,
I finally picked up my 87 IROC from the paintshop on friday at 1pm and spent the next 20 hours putting her back together to go to an autocross on Saturday morning at turner field. I managed to beat some subarus as well, so it was a good day. The color is 2007 Corvette Atomic Orange Metallic with flat black accents (matte). It is also the color chosen for the 2007 Indy 500 pacecar and rumored to be a color for the 2009 camaro.
Hope you like it as much as I do!
Brian

Looks nice, you don't see many camaros in colors like that. At first glance it looked to me like your car was twin turbo, 2 things where the fog lights should be...is it? Cause that'd be really cool. Either way, nice lookin car, congrats on takin down some subarus.

Regarding the hood, it's just the stock 87 iroc hood. (yes i read the other post, and no i don't have measurements yet -- but I will say that they realigned it at the paint shop and it fits much better now)...

no to the turbos. I did the air box mod with 4" PVC pipe ram-ing the air into a pair of K&N directly into the TPI engine. I don't know how much HP it adds, but what the hell, the rules allow it and from what I read AIR IS KING in the TPI world. Just wait till the headers go on, then she'll be real fast.

Brian I see you're from Atlanta. Will you be attending the F-Body Gathering this year? If so take many many pictures of the other thirdgens and share. I went last year but am not going to make it this year. Extremetly disappointed. Very nice ride you have there. I like the color and wheel combo. Congrats on taking out some subarus.

Those are Real Racing wheels 16x10 shod with Kumho V710 in size 265/45 ZR16 from TireRack. Those tires are specific to Autocross only as the car is not street legal.
The rims are all the same, so I run a very small 7/32" spacer up front and they clear the Koni struts.
