i got a free 84 Z28!! no... really, i did
well.. i was out looking on my grandmothers property.. and wtf is this? but someone pulled up a crapped out 84 Z28 onto her land. it doesnt run, and there are 4 different wheels on the car, so i think they just pulled it in there to leave it. anyways, i think the car is mine, just got to check and make sure the owner, if there is one, doesnt want it back. so.. the cool thing is, its a ttop car(not broken), got an iroc hood, miscellaneous cool engine parts(aluminum intake n such) and auto tranny.. my question is, how much can i get for the ttops? is the hood worth anything? the rear glass? im NOT ADVERTISING here.. im just asking is it worth my time to go and take the various parts from the car and put them for sale on ebay? i think this, or that day was my lucky day.. what you guys think?

well how much are ttops worth? i've looked on ebay and have seen a wide variety of prices. is the (steel) hood worth anything, or the rear glass? I think it primarily depends on finding a person who needs the part, but i still dont have a clue as to what each thing is worth

I got an 84 Z28 and my tops are kinda scratched and the li'l plastic seal around them is basically gone, what shape are they in?
Don't compare any prices to e-bay that crap is a rip off 'cause of the proxy bidding.

well. i didnt have a jack, and the grass was so tall around teh car(plus i swear ther was a brown recluse, very deadly spider, under the hood) so i didnt get too close. hehe. if the rear is posi, im definately going to take it also.. the ttops are in good shape. there is one small chip off the metal on the drivers side, but being on the outter edge of the top, it wont affect sealing. From what i saw, they are in good shape..eheh, thats why i was thinking to sell on ebay, cuse i could get some cash flow from the parts to fund some other stuff i need now

Hey,
ebay is a sellers market man!!!
My power hatch pulldown thingie is up to $32, last I looked.
The thing about ebay is that it's good for selling IF you can SHIP the stuff. otherwise, your market is greatly reduced. If you want to bother shipping a hood or (holy crap!) a glass hatch!!!!... more power to ya
how's the front spoiler? I really need one that's not all cracked up

hmm, i can check on the front spoiler.. if its in good shape, i'd be glad to send it to you, providing you pay the shipping thats true, it would be a pain shipping some of those parts, but hey.. money's money. If anyone needs a specific part, email me about it, and i'll see if the car has it(and you pay shipping)..no, i wouldnt/wont charge much for anything, since i didnt really pay for the car in the first place, but i am driving a few hours to get the stuff, so... in any case, thanks for the replies
