1986 Chevrolet Camaro 383
Here we go boys and girls. I have had this car since I was 15 years old. I drove her for a year bone stock w/ 305. When I turned 17 I purchased a gm zz4 crate motor and threw a 150 shot on her, as well as building a 700R4 that held up quite well for a year and 1/2. When I turned 18 I had the car stripped down to bare metal, and painted black. The process took 2 months because I wanted it done right. I gave the guy my car and told him to take his time. I had an explorer at the time so I was in no rush.Upon reaching the age of 19, that motor finally blew up. While it was broke I had the car paint touched up, and wet sanded. I put together its current combo, which has been in the car for a few months. After having this nice 383 motor go around 3k miles, it decided to break 3 700R4's that I had built for it. About a month ago I put a built th 350 in it, along with a few suspension components. I have only been to the track with it a total of 4 times with it on this setup. 3 trips to the local immokalee 1/8 mile strip, where I bested a best et of 7.52 on motor (on the old transmission) and a best mph of 95 on motor. I took it to the track last week with the new tranny in it and it was stumbling out of the hole. The carb just recieved a fresh re-build and it fixed the problem. I don't really plan to bring it back to the track, but should be quicker, because of the busted tranny in it before. The car moves really well, drives smooth, has power steering, and NO roll cage. The interior is nice, and very stock looking, with the exception of the B&M shifter. Locally, this car is known by many, and I have been personally known by it for the past few years. The paint is in very good condition, the rims are great with no curb rash. The front tires have 60% life left on them, and the rear nittos are brand new. I will now give a list of what the car has to offer...
383 Stroker
Brand new GM block
11.5:1 Compression
4k miles on motor
MOTOR:
Eagle forged crank 3.750 stroke
Forged JE Flat top pistons
Forged Manley Rods
Custom ground T&L cam for n20
Ported 215cc DART Pro1 heads with 2.06 intake valves and 1.6 exh. valves
1.6 Crower roller rockers, Comp dual springs, Comp push rods.
Edelbrock RPM air gap intake
NOS Super Powershot N20 System
Hooker long tubes, with true dual 3" exhaust with flowmaster race mufflers.
I have a cam card and spec sheet somewhere, will dig up for interested buyers...
Motor DOES NOT SMOKE AT ALL, plugs have been in for 2k miles and look perfect, pulled them last week. Gets around 12-14 to the gallon if you stay out of it believe it or not.
Holley 750 HP carb, carb was jetted and tuned on dyno.
MSD destributor, ign. system, car has the best of everything in it really.
Pioneer audio ****, lol.
Holley blue pump.
there is alot to list...
Tranny:
Pro Built TH350 trans
PTC 3800 Stall
PTC valve body
Chasis:
Hotchkins LCA's
KYB Gr2 front struts
KYB rear shocks
Subframes not installed yet...
Rear End:
Built 10 bolt
Auburn Pro Posi unit
3.73 Pro gears
31 spline axles
Engine made 508hp and 560lb ft on engine dyno
The engine was professionally assembled. I have papers and engine dyno video. I also have a spec sheet with clearences, deck height, anything you could think of really... Everything down to the assembly lube used. I also have reciepts for EVERYTHING in this car.
MOTOR HAS NEVER BEEN SPRAYED, I HAVE YET TO SPRAY IT.
car did 7.50's in the 1/8 mile at 95mph before i swapped this new transmission in, should be ALOT faster. I would have found that out tonight if the fuel pump didnt **** up.
Will pull the left tire off the ground at the track on drag radials. Should be a very low 11 on motor or possibly a high 10 if you take some weight off the car, and a low 10 on a 150 shot. Motor was professionally assembled by T&L and has been cleared for a 300shot, but my nitrous plate will only support a 200 shot I believe.
Let me know if you would like to arrange a test drive, etc. It's no ls1, but it gets the job done, and has been a really good car to learn about cars with. This motor has had no toubles with the exception of breaking a rocker arm at like 2500 miles. When this happened ALL rockers were replaced with new Crower rockers. Other than that it's all been good! Time to focus more on college, and less than cars. When this car goes, I will be using the money towards college, so at least its not going into another toy.
Thanks for looking,
-Steve

I have well over 16k invested, but I want it gone, so I will entertain reasonable offers...
So entertain me with a reasonable offer, shoot me a comment in here, or via PM, come look at the car, take it for a test drive, and lets get it out of my garage!
Thanks for your time ladies and gentleman.
