Help Identifiing DFI
I have a DFI ECM, but have no idea what it is. It has Digital Fuel Injection across the front. Has an address of 4344 Fenton RD. Hartland MI, 48029. Also has tel # 313-887-2660 on it but I get some lady's v/m that doesn't sound like a performance company to me. Anyone have any idea what company this is that makes this DFI?

DFI ECU
Smokin, what you have is a very early model ECU that was produced by DFI before Accel purchased the company. DFI was originally located in Hartland Michigan and the phone number you have was changed long ago.
Depending on the numbers that are listed on the back of the ECU, you could have either the first design 5.0 version or an early version of the 6.0 system. Both of those designs have been discontinued so don't expect any support from Accel concerning them.
Hope this helps.

The numbers on the back are 014018D, 061892, and SN004916. Depending on which one it is would anyone know where I could pick up a copy of the software for it? From the above I'm guessing I won't be able to get it from accell. The ECM and everything works, I just need to software to be able to reprogram it for my application if it can still be found.

lemme know whatcha need-i have calmap 5.0,6.0,6.2 and the 6.32. for sure dont expect nuthin from accel to get you up and running with that old box. 5.0 will do it for sure, even 6.0 might work too. email me and we will figure out what to do to get you what you need. used one of those boxes and the later "power processor" (what accel called the box once they bought dfi) and actually they work pretty good no matter how old accel makes em sound to use. like a 6.0 box w/o some of the tuning parameters. later, frank
