Im lost, No spark 400 sbc.
Just picked up this Camaro, Its a 91, 400, T5. Lets just say its a POS for now. I pulled the motor out as it had Truck headers and burnt the clutch line. So after 4 hours and a set of hookers the motor set back in. All went smooth, Timing set(roughly) and drove out of the garage. Now heres the fun part, Drove it for 2 days, open headers, tops off just cruising, the car died. Hooked the truck up and tried to pull start it, Nothing. It rolls over just fine just doesn't act like it has spark. Sure enough, back home it doesn't. I replaced the distributor, cap, rotor, ignition module, plugs, wires. Hooked a push button up, and ran a direct line from the battery to the distributor. I still don't have spark, and I'm lost. What could be the problem here?

What induction / dist do you have ( don't state )?
Have you done the basic Ign system check to ensure you have power at all the right places ?
For injected engine but a similar test procedure

Its a carb, and When I mean cap, I also meant coil as well. Its a standard HEI distributor, I will check that website out and test later on tonight.

It points towards the ICM being bad. So off to O'Rallys for one. Or would it be worth it to buy a nice new distributor?

Coil tested bad, got a new one, and now the starter takes a crap. Can I catch a break?

fuel pump relay died on the car i've been working on the other day... whats funny is it doesnt drive a fuel pump at all anymore- just a pair of relays mounted in the rear of the car next to the battery. so it died while controlling 1/50th the load it once handled. lol

Happen to have my starter from my LT1 car laying around, hooked it up, she runs again. Now time for some tuning. Anyone have any experience with the clutch rod bushing thing? Mine happened to break.. Think the Help! Brand brake an clutch pedal bushings would work?
