how much for fbody accessories?

How much are the f-body accessories and oil pan worth? What would you pay for a setup?

Re: how much for fbody accessories?

I paid $250 for everything but the a/c compressor. I think that's a fair price.

Re: how much for fbody accessories?

I paid $200 for my oil pan, pickup tube and windage tray, $70 for my power steering setup, my motor came with the water pump and I traded parts for my alternator setup / tensioner. No A/C.

Re: how much for fbody accessories?

Oh well if we're talking about oil pans too, then that was another $130.

Re: how much for fbody accessories?

I'm going from memory here, but I think I paid $130 for my complete oil pan (w/ pan, pickup, splash tray, etc.), & $150 for the front accessory drive setup that I bought. There's definitely some variation in prices out there.

Re: how much for fbody accessories?

This thread got me thinking and motivated me to make an excel sheet of all my costs in my swap thus far, needless to say my jaw dropped to the floor.

I KNOW better than to even let my thoughts stray too far in that direction, much less try & add the receipts up!

Where you luck up and find this deal? All of you got good deals really but the cheaper the better in this case. haha

Thanks for all of your help.

Re: how much for fbody accessories?

Not to mention if the accessories don't come with bolts (some of mine didn't) you'll have to buy those too. And if you go OEM, they aren't cheap.

If I remember right, I spent a pretty good bit of time hanging out in the LS1Tech classifieds forums, I also posted "want to buy" ads there.

Good luck!

Re: how much for fbody accessories?

Yea if you put a "wanted" ad on LS1tech you'll have like 5 people PM you about it within a matter of a day or so.

LOL, I saved almost every receipt, but I am hesitant to add everything up.
