Fair well and goodbye?

I might be relocating again with the company to Atlanta this time. I need to be closer to my mom so I can help her with all the crap associated with the house and stuff after my dad died so this actually works out well that this can happen and I get to take my Cali salary with me.

I would consider leaving the car in this state only if a NorCal (or SoCal) TGO member was interested and willing to pay a fair price. I have no idea what that is really but I've dropped a lot of time, work, and money in the car in the last year. Lord knows I will have to get another car anyway to commute in ATL so finding a house with a garage is a certain requirement.

If it happens, I'll sure miss you gents and still haunt this board.

Re: Fair well and goodbye?

Didn't you just claim the bringing up of a similar thread a second ago gave you a bad feeling? Creepy. Good luck with the relocation, and if it happens, hopefully you can find yourself a good third gen in Atlanta so you have something to post about!

Re: Fair well and goodbye?

I'm pretty sure it will be coming with me. There's a ton of TGOer's in GA that I'll be able to hang with on a regular basis not to mention a Summit distribution center.

The Summit center might prove to be both a blessing and a curse

Mike when are you going? Don't sell your car. All you'll find out there is rusted POS.

Did you find out what was wrong with your car?

Re: Fair well and goodbye?

Yeah, I love it too much to part with it. It's going (unless I get an offer on it over a certain rediculous figure). It's driving really well right now in terms of traction, accelleration, and braking. The ebrake works great but there is still this "sound" that isn't too obnoxious that I am just dealing with now. I'd love it if an expert could listen to it and tell me what it is. Of course my biggest fear is that it is the posi unit. That would suck.

I should be around this weekend if you want me to throw an ear on it. I am in a class for work this week and working on Friday. Maybe sat or sun?
