Keep it, it goes well with your paint scheme. If the gfx were car color i would say remove it for a clean look.

I would say leave it.
Even if u paint it I would keep it.
I would prefer it not to be there, but if u look at our cars, count the gouges from retarded idiots who pay no attention to how or where they park :-)
So while I would like it gone, I dont want to see what would happen when someone slammed a door striaght into ours.

well... i think should keep em for now. I do think it goes with the whole look of the car like how its 2 tone w/ the stripe and has 15" wheels w/ the raised white letters. If i ever decide to repaint it (i cant see a need to anytime soon) I have always wanted a solid color no stripes and polished 17" irocs for sure and at that time the side moldings are history. But for now i will continue my sick demented quest to make my 305 go fast while on a budget
Tim i know what you are saying about the dings, but in all honesty, the style of side molding my car has doesnt do jack. if you look carefully, you can seen dents under the molding from where it has been hit.
wish me luck guys..... tomorrow I will see if the Z will start with the 165 ecm and my modified memcal its just about wired in.

I don't think they look all that good, but they really do work. If you use you car every day, just keep 'em on. The week you take those bad boys off, is the week some a**hole hits your door. If I were you I'd just paint 'em the body color so they're less noticable.
Nice car by the way, I dig the two tone. Not the wildest paint scheme, but factory paint schemes tend to look better as they get older. I've even contemplated going back to my original silver/dark grey combo w/ red pinstrips.
