Just shaved off a few pounds on the front
36 lbs taken off by switching to these Stock wheels were 41 lbs each, these are flickering 22.5 on my scale so I'll call it 23 each. Tires are 26x4.5x15 Moroso DS2 and the large fender gap is because the car is on the lift. Finally got some wheels to match the back pro stars Hope to hit the track on the 17th of this month, found out this weekend's track day has been called off.

I'm just hoping to get the car running right again let alone run a new best number Just upped the compression from about 9.8:1 to 10.5:1 and installed a windage tray last month. Also have a different carb coming so the Mighty Demon 850 will be going on the shelf.

what carb did you end up going with? that up in the CR will deffinately give you lots more power, windage tray will easy the stress some. i think going to anything from a demon or edlebrock should results in a few tenths,

Hard to get a pic of the whole car in my shop
Now just picture the new front wheels on instead of the stockers

I need some Prostars on the front of my car. I had Draglites all around and when I did my back half, I got a good deal on some 15" wide Prostars for the rear. I still have the draglites on the front.
I have some Aerospace drag brakes on the front. The hubs have a dual bolt pattern so if I can get a good deal on some front prostars, they can be in Ford or Chev bolt pattern. The Draglites are already a dual bolt pattern rim but Prostars are not.
Money no problem? I'd get some Bogart rims. Even lighter than the draglite and prostars.

Those Bogart wheels are what a friend of mine uses, I think. He changed his front brakes out to shave off 40 lbs, cost him 2 grand though. The guy has done so many things to his car it's unreal and that's only the stuff he's telling me about hehe.
