32B to 6E works great but no Datalogging?
Ok I have 165 ECM and I was running the stock 32B ABWN bin. After another post on here I used the autoprom and burnt a 6E bin and stuck it in the G3 adapter with the stock Memcal on it. The car runs awesome but I can't get it to datalog using the 32b or the 6E ADS file in TunerPro. So do I need to find a 6E memcal so that its the same as the Bin Im running to get the data loging to work in the 6E ADS file? Also, how do I know which position to have the data logging switch on the Autoprom, I tryed it in all three and none worked.

Good question - which ADS (ALDL definition file) should be used in TunerPro RT when the conversion from $32B to $6E has been done? I'm actually at this stage now.
Did you set up Tuner Pro to use "AutoProm" as the datalogging device type?
If you are datalogging (or trying to) using the AutoProm / TunerPro combo, I believe the horizontal switch needs to be towards the USB port, and the vertical switch needs to be in the top position for the 10k resistor used with the 165 ECM ALDL interface.

I don't beleive there is anything in the memcal that would prevent the datalogging from happening(other than the code). The aldl operation will follow the mask, so you should use the 6E if the code was changed to 6E.

When running $6E, use the 1227165_6E.ads file included with TunerPro. If it doesn't connect the first try and you're sure your ALDL settings are correct, then hit connect again.
