Turbo Manifold(s) for LS motors in a Third Gen
I just want to know if anyone makes a turbo manifold or manifold set for a single or twin turbo on a LS motor, I've looked for a few hours and can't find anything . I'm swapping an LS3 into my '82 and want to do a single turbo setup, so if that helps for a reference... Do any companies make this, or do you guys make your own? Anything helps, thanks

OBX makes a set. I made my own around 4 years ago which look similar to the OBX ones. You could have an issue with the brake booster with the OBX. Unsure since I have never bolted a set up. I know when I built mine I had to fish it around the booster so it wouldnt be touching.
My new car I am going to just do a flipped truck manifold and possibly a flipped LS4 on the drivers side.
Here are some photos of my old setup to give you an idea with forward facing headers. Not I had cut the rad support out only bc I was fitting a T6 flanged turbo.

Re: Turbo Manifold(s) for LS motors in a Third Gen
I modified my engine bay some and have a tubular crossmember along with a steering rack instead of stock steering.... with that being said...
A stock 2010 Camaro manifold on the drivers side pointed down fits with out modding.
On the Passenger side I used a stock Truck manifold.
Then made a crossover pipe from drivers/passenger to the T-6 Flange on Passenger side.
Ended up like this...
Hope that helps,
Scott~

Do you know if the Stainless Works manifolds will have a clearance issue with the Brake booster, or would just a stock manifold from a truck or camaro be best for clearance.

The manifolds are best for power and fit.... they hold more heat in than the headers so more of the exhaust energy is put to the turbo wheel instead of loosing it out a thin metal header.
Plus the manifolds seal easy don't leak and are cheap. We keep several sets here just to fit on the LS swaps we do.
I run a PA Performance K member, coil over conversion and lower arms/manual rack.

Ok Thanks, I'll go with the OBX manifolds. I'm sure I can find someone locally to help me tweak the manifold if I have any issue with clearance.

Yep... Exactly....
I'm using the 2010 Camaro manifolds on my 67 Chevelle wagon with a stock 4.8L and two stock GN turbo's...
My Camaro did have a GN engine in it for around 7 years... 10.32@133mph pump gas on Drag Radials

Not sure who that is or what you mean by that?
Don't think anyone does stuff quite like I've done

Never seen that car before.... But mine's a Wagon and done totally different..
He is using a GN style turbo... I just happend to have two laying around and I've been into the V6 stuff a long time and know how the stock one's (two) would act on a 4.8L
Just building it as a pro-tour style car Only looking for 5-600hp with instant response and fun to drive with good MPG.
