Ok i have a64 elcamino with a new 355 tpi /700R4 .
now i want to do the swap to a carb.
my 700R4 only has 1800 miles on a new rebuild !
Q1-- IS CAN I USE A STOCK TV AND Throttle bracket...

I JUST INSTALLED A 1979 -010 HIGH NICKLE BLOCK 350 TPI WITH 1986 305 HEADS 1.94 /1.60 VALVES,, Flat tapit cam,compression is 10.1, There was some porting on the heads but i don't know...

ok timing problems after putting on new heads,,, setting the perload on lifters i then set the timing to tdc with the finger over the #1 cyl trick,, it was a little past after poping my finger...

so i was reading your post on TCC kit options,, now i have a 350 tpi 700r4. 86 700r4 ecm controled taking out the tpi,ECM ...i am confused here i don't know jack about tranys what kit do i use...

well it is a tuff decision... but if you want real power go to a carb.... if you want mileage i would go to TPI.... i get 25 on the hwy an 19 in the city with my tpi......

just a thought ,,did you check the fan relay switch..on the fire wall....next to the mater cylinder,,,one is the fuel relay ,one is the fan relay,the other is a starter relay,, an if your not getting...

yes i am having the same problem.... got 45 pounds at fuel rail, strong blue spark,got air,got power to injectors, fuel to injectors,,it sounds like to wants to start ,but nothing..

yup snow, more on the way... your just south of Portland,, i am just out side Tacoma.. waiting for a 50 degree plus day to work on my ride... it could be the tcc but will not know till i get...

thank you for your responce..I took the throttle body off an did a full cleaning but no change... weather to cold to do heads,,it has ben snowing here is Seattle again.my garage is to full......

the voltage is 5.5,, new egr, NEW ECM,,, everything new you name it has ben replaced..... it does it about every four to five days...could it be the nutrel safty switch going bad ,not...

have you checked the timing control mod... check your relays on the firewall next to your break booster,check the oil pressure switch by the dizzy on the manifold,,, it's only a 20.00 part... try the...

i have plenty of fule pressure,timing is fine.. i said in the thread when i put power to the wire( the purple one for the dizzy that sends singnal to ECM) my injectors come on ,,, i went trhough all...
