only one thing though, the town were I am at only asks for smog checks when you first buy the car but dont have to do it after that.. Ill be going to sacramento for school for a year over there too.

Most likely it is the MAF, because when unplugged the car runs off the computer memory, and if you plug it, then its starts reading the values off the sensor. I read how to diagnose the problem here...

I just checked and my #3 injector has 1.5 ohms the rest are between 14.5 to 16.6 looks like the injectors were the problem after all...........
