Re: JAZ fuel cell (plastic) with foam

I have a 16 gallon plastic fuel cell also, don't remember the brand, but I purchased it from summit racing. The foam trashed my fuel system. I removed foam, flushed fuel cell, fuel lines, and...

Re: 92 z28 running like crap after 20 min

The same thing happened to my grandpa's truck and it wound up being a sensor on the intake. It was a temperature sending unit of some kind. When the code was pulled it told you which sensor it was.

Re: edelbrock performer rpm intake with tbi?

We put an aftermarket intake on my brothers 94 chevy with tbi. He ordered an adapter from summit racing. It was fairly inexpensive and simple. It was made out of a flat piece of steel, can't...

Re: 92camaro rs ground effects.. Ugly??

I like the 91-92 RS the best. But If I were going to add ground effects to another third gen I would go with the older version. The 91-92 RS ground effects are harder to find or at least they were...

Re: Car heating crazy

Are you loosing coolant? If not run your car until it gets up to operating temperature shut it off and let it set a couple of minutes. Then put on a glove and give the top radiator hose a squeeze...

Re: Who is running quicker than 12 sec. 1/4 mile

I am not going to disagree with you, but I plan on just driving it until I decide what I want to do with an engine upgrade. It has only been on the road since mid October and I would like to take it...

Re: Who is running quicker than 12 sec. 1/4 mile

I run E-85 in the company truck sometimes, and it is available at several gas stations so I would consider it pump gas.

Re: Who is running quicker than 12 sec. 1/4 mile

More power will come later as the money allows. On the initial build I wanted start with a solid foundation when it came to the trans, rearend, and suspension.

If you have a combination running quicker than 12.0 on pump gas, than layout your combination. List your E.T. and mph, and what engine, trans, and suspenion set ups do you have. Lets give fellow...

Re: What kind of project you got going on with your third gen right now?

I did not go into much detail on the engine. It is a 355, 10:5:1 compression, sportsman II heads, gasket matched, and bowl blended with stainless valves with the cut down stem. Solid flat tappet...
