The same thing happened to my grandpa's truck and it wound up being a sensor on the intake. It was a temperature sending unit of some kind. When the code was pulled it told you which sensor it was.

I run E-85 in the company truck sometimes, and it is available at several gas stations so I would consider it pump gas.

More power will come later as the money allows. On the initial build I wanted start with a solid foundation when it came to the trans, rearend, and suspension.

I have had issue's with quadrajet carbs idling. The issue I have had with them is a vacuum leak on the throttle shaft, you might check that out.
