The center cap bases were the original ones. I cut the inserts from 2012 cruz ( I think?) centers to fit inside and glued them in.

Did you pull the carpet back on the passenger side and check under it for a puddle still not dried up? The carpet is rubber backed and can be sopping wet underneath and feel dry on top.

Sounds like he just needs the mirror. No need to pull anything else off unless it's a power mirror. Three screws in the housing behind the mirror. A little tricky to get at.

The lows have a high beam as well. If your low beams go out when in high mode, I'd check your dimmer switch and wiring.

Sort of correct. Low beams have 3 wires. A common ground and a hot for low and high. Run quality bulbs and have the lows on the outside as they're supposed to be and you will be surprised how well...

Real life experience? My car was in a body shop for a year, the overspray was horrid when it came out. A few hours of clay and it was slick as glass. The stuff works well.

Vacuum reservoir also helps the blend doors in your HVAC system work faster. Prolly should keep it. It's not like it's cluttering up the engine bay.

Yes. Red is 12v from battery, tan is 12 hot with ignition on, green is the switched ground and black is power to the fan.

You have a pic of the pigtail? From left to right it should be 12 from batt, 12v ign source, ground from switch, supply to fan.

Those two parts you showed do not go together. One is for power, one is not.

Pretty sure all 84s had a clutch fan. Signal wire for the relay should be green or black. Here's the pinout for factory relay.
A) 12ga, Black/Red wire, Fan Power, This wire goes to fan positive....

The base needs to be grounded but the mast is insulated from the body. If you go that route I would just pony up for a hidden antenna. Do a search, they're all over the web under $30.

I hated the two foot mast the car came with. I got a 6" shorty (cue the jokes now) same style and it's practically invisible.
