Hooked up multi colored gauges. Works perfectly...except they go back to blue (default color)

Without having to get a new wiring harness that runs off the battery, Is there a risk of burning up a 91Z wiring harness with H4 bulbs?

If so, is the H4 bulbs and or HID the only one off limits...

gasket perfect on the other side. Gaskets were perfect for stock runners, not so much the Edelbrock.
So I figure trying to do timing with this leak was impossible, so I just have it way off. I went...

Orangebird, thanks! We did look at the Harmonic Dampener and it is original one, and is starting to show what u speak of, but not close to failure mode for a few years yet.

I did not do anything...

Total loss. Did a easy swap of a ported Intake manifold, new fuel injectors (still 19LB) and ported new runners. Ran perfect before swap.
Now the RPM race all over the place, and within 2 minutes...

Yes, from what I understand, digging deeper and learning more, is that TPI is more to the 1:30 position as you would never get a timing gun from the 12:00 position. sound right?

OK some good info! Tks all!! I have hauled this from other posts:
The one with 8" balancer is TDC just past 12 o 'clock.
The TPI with 6 3/4" balancer is nearer 1 o'clock .

Yep it is a part of the timing cover, but its gone on mine. I had the block changed back in the early 90's as a warranty replacement after a cylinder wall failed. Just did the Edelbrock Hi flow...

Hey Folks...what is the size of a stock harmonic balancer on a 91 305 TPI? Was on summit and see them anywhere from 6 to 8. I'm not sure how to measure it, the ID is about 7 inches and OD in almost 8...

I have 12 bolts...8 the same length and 4 the same length...which holes do the longer ones go? they are all deep...

Why are they listed from 85-88 and 89 to 92?

I was just going to order Mr Gasket MRG-146 for my 1991, but the Summit page says only 85-88?

Is that correct?

I was trying to wrap my head around why spacers were not required and zero off-sets were OK when the orginal rims had "front" and "rear" stamped on them.

I can now see that the orginal front rims...
