Re: No start

I have not put a test light on the injector wiring yet, will try that this weekend, however I did pull 2 plugs, and both were wet with gas. The injectors worked well when I pulled them out, and...

No start

Okay, so I've tried nothing, and I'm all out of ideas (not really). Car has been off the road since 2014 when it started running pig rich after the battery came disconnected, and arced when it was...

Startup Timing

So my '85 T/A has been out of commission for quite some time (2014 was the last tag on it). I've done a fair bit of work on it since it's been down, and now I cannot get it to light off. It'll...

Re: Low Fuel Pressure?

I had a similar problem on a Focus after I swapped out the pump. My problem was a loose plug. Maybe try and separate the plug infront of the tank, and spray some electric contact cleaner. Or it...

92 V6. Just put a brand new Bosch fuel pump in, and it's priming the fuel system great. So great in fact, that it showed me where the hard line is rusted through. It's in the section after the...

Fuel Pump Question

So I just picked up a 92 Camaro V6 for dirt cheap. PO says that it needs a fuel pump, and showed me it running by dumping gas into the throttle body. I have a fuel pump for a TPI car sitting in my...

There is a complete tech article on how to do this swap. If it were me, I'd just dump the whole thing into the car as is.

If I were going to be doing an entire new setup, I'd opt for the ODBII option. There is a sticky for it here, and it will open up a whole other set of options for tuning, diagnosis, etc.

Re: Speed density TPI, no injector groung pulse cranking

I believe that the distributor (not exactly sure which part, I want to say the ignition control module) controls injector pulse under 300 RPMs. This would explain why, once running, it works.
