Sounds like the same problem i was having a while back and it was caused by a weak fuel pump. And dont let the fuel pressure fool you, it may be fine at idle then it will let out on you under a load....

Yea the car already has the tbi ecm and all, but i just found out the motor comes with the ecm which has been tuned so im thinking bout switching out the harness and stickin with the TPI.:hmmm:

The screen on the pump could get clogged if u have dirt in the tank...Have u changed the fuel filter??? They seem to clog up often in these cars.

I would go with a brass tank rad., or if you can find a good deal on an aluminum one. Check out ebay. They will cool better and wont crack from excessive heat like a plastic one would.

The one you are speaking of by the t-stat housing is actually the MAT sensor (manifold air temp) and it is one of the sensors that came up on code 23 which was the lone code that ive had flashing.So,...

Not yet, i got the rears on and started on the front but the driver side strut is seized in the mount so im waiting to get new strut mounts then i will finish. Should be within the next week or so...
