Thats exactly what I was going to say. A second is hard to find when you are already going that fast. It takes a lot more power than to go from a 16.0 to a 15.0. Also, a bigger tire may help you...

Mine weighed 3450 with no driver, half a tank of fuel, aluminum heads and intake, subframes ,a 5pt bar and a GTA leather interior. Not sure what the total is now with the 9".
