I think it is worth repairing and bringing back...I wouldn't just part it out. It's not rusted or crashed/dented enough to justify a part out yet in my opinion. I think that car is worth the $1000...

Here's the problem I have with this whole idea. If it was strictly to save weight, then why is a radio installed...that probably weighs about 5 lbs give or take. The gauges weigh a few pounds...

As I then stated afterward, it is probably fine and just doesn't lock until hit harder than you're doing testing it or needs crash impact or slammed brakes to throw the weight enough to lock the belt.

Yea, maybe I'll just seal up the leaks as best as I can, drive it til the rust comes back worse and trash the body to swap all of it over to another donor body. Just clean up what's there and daily...
